A Universe of Stories: screening of Moon Machines

Library Description: 
In honor of the 50th Anniversary of the Apollo moon landing all are welcome to a screening of the documentary film series Moon Machines, Part 1, The Saturn V Rocket. Afterwards join us for a discussion moderated by Bill Newcott, former Space Science Editor at National Geographic Magazine, covering the U.S. space program’s then-current missions as well as its history. Bill trained in Houston with John Glenn prior to his return to space and is a recipient of the Space Writers Association Award of Excellence. Registration is requested.
