Lewes Public Library at Child/Teen Program Room

Campers will have an opportunity to use a variety of exciting art media to create tropical fish, birds, or other animals using air-dry clay and other art media. Over the course of four days, they will explore and learn basic hand building and sculpting techniques to create colorful and fun clay sculptures. Each camper will take home their own unique work of art. Limited to 16 participants. Registration is required. You must be able to attend all 4 days of camp to register. Sign up in the Children's Room starting July 2nd.

Science Rocks the Library!=0D=0A=0D=0ASounds are all around us - loud ones, soft ones, harsh ones, pleasant ones. Bring your child to the library and they'll learn about how sounds are made and how we hear them. You and your child will play a guessing game with shakers, make the water in a bowl dance and splash, experiment with the sounds that a straw can make and listen to a squawking chicken! You'll also test our Boomwhackers - plastic tubes tuned to specific musical notes. Science and sound go together like rock and music!
